we have a Jazz Vespers Service located in Foster Auditorium on the third floor.

Dear Friends of Jazz Vespers,
 
Jazz Vespers is truly one of the many gems at Southside Baptist Church. In fact, it has been featured in the Birmingham Magazine as one of the best places to hear jazz in Birmingham. A new service committee has been established for Jazz Vespers whose primary goal is to support this wonderful ministry through funding, marketing and programming. To that end and beginning July, Jazz Vespers will take a two-month hiatus. During that time we will create a “Season of Jazz” peppered with local and regional guest jazz musicians that will compliment our fantastic core ensemble.
 
A seasonal publication highlighting upcoming events and including biographical information on our core and guest musicians will be published and distributed.
 
In addition, during the hiatus time, be on the lookout for teasers about the beginning of the new season. We will be contacting you to expand our email and snail mail distribution list. It's time to fling wide the doors, unbar the gate, and let this best kept secret out of the bag!
