Book studies

At Southside Baptist Church we believe that intentional faith development is necessary in following the way of Jesus. Each Fall and Spring Southside Baptist Church offers book studies that explore various topics of faith. These studies align with our mission of building an inclusive community of grace and seek to expand our understanding of God’s activity in the world around us. Previous studies have included James H. Cone’s The Cross and the Lynching Tree and Stephanie Spellers The Church Cracked Open: Disruption, Decline, and New Hope for Beloved Community. If you are interested in the next book study or would like more information regarding additional opportunities, contact us.
